Taxonomy of Communication

Collaboration with Jürg Lehni on a series of drawings as part of the SFMOMA exhibition Typeface to Interface. The series, titled A Taxonomy of Communication, charts the history of visible language and communication tools via the following categories: writing, reading, displays, signs, and interfaces. The drawings were produced on the gallery walls by Viktor, a drawing machine invented by Lehni, which embodies the blurred line between medium and method.

Studio Hirons [Hai:rinz], established by Jenny Hirons, is a multidisciplinary creative agency focused on Art Direction, Graphic Design, and Illustration. Jenny Hirons earned her BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London (2010). In the years since, she has spearheaded projects for clients in arts, advertising, e-commerce, education, fashion, music and more. Her design solutions are crafted through artistic sensibility, critical thinking, and a passion for visual storytelling. Alongside her creative practice, Jenny is also a musician. Born in Damascus and educated in London, she currently resides in Los Angeles.
